Passion is born
I’m Killian.
A passionate photographer since 1986, I grew up in Marseille during the film era — surrounded by black and white images and the smell of home darkrooms. I mainly practiced street photography, reportage, portrait, and wedding photography.
Since 2007, I’ve been living in the Verdon Gorges, where I founded Kalone Photos in 2021, with the goal of bringing substance and service back to the heart of my wedding photography.
Today, I practice a traditional and candid style of photography.

Inspiration
The 60s, 70s, and 80s deeply shaped my way of life and my photographic style. Warm colors or high-contrast, textured black and white, film grain and film-like rendering are my signature.
- Influenced by Robert Doisneau – I was 14 when he passed away, and every black and white I produce is a kind of tribute.
- Henri Cartier-Bresson, with his candid reportage and capturing everyday life.
- Steve McCurry, who explored the extraordinary variety of human expression while remaining discreet and attentive to others.

What if I told your story ?
